Meal Packing Palooza 2020
Through our partnership with Lifeline Christian Mission, this church-wide service event will have us packing hundreds of meals to help alleviate hunger in Haiti. Below are some important details to know before you sign up:
Everyone is required to wear face masks, along with hair nets and gloves. The individual stations will be placed 6-8 feet apart; however, please be advised that 6-foot social distancing cannot be accomplished around the packing station.
PACKING STATION VOLUNTEER NEEDS
Each packing stations has 8 roles for packing the meal, and 1 role for sealing each meal container (totalling 9 volunteers per station). Volunteer “Runners” will be supplying meal packing supplies to stations. Children under 6 should be supervised by their parent, as we will NOT be providing childcare at this event.
Choose a shift and register yourself and the number of your family or group members who will be serving with you!
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Please arrive 10 minutes before your shift. Look for your designated table that you registered for, which will include: your Table Number, your designated balloon color, and name (as applicable). The last 15 minutes of each shift will be spent sanitizing your station for the next volunteers. Please do not begin packing until instructed to do so by Lifeline Christian Mission staff.
